Factory Built Homes

HUD Code
All manufactured homes built after Jun 1976 must meet this code. It is administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
HUD Label
A HUD Label certifies that a home has been factory constructed, tested and inspected to comply with the HUD Code.
Land-Lease Communities
A variety of communities are available depending on a homeowner's lifestyle. All age communities and senior communities are typical. Community owners are generally responsible for maintaining the community's amenities which may include security, clubhouses, pools, spas, tennis courts and common areas. In California there are more than 4,900 land lease communities.
